This well-known Cincinnati newspaper described a few qualities that are synonymous with this young woman, Jeffonia “Ms. Ebony J” Wynn. Ebony J graduated from Hughes Center Communication program in 2008. During high school, she interned with WCPO, Scripps Howard Program, and Radio One Cincinnati. Her determination was and still is endless. Shortly after graduation, she landed a position in the programming department as the producer for “At Work Network” at her dream station WIZF (101.1 the Wiz). Through hard work and dedication, she was able to work her way into an on-air talent position. Ebony J served as a local producer for top radio programs such as The Doll House with Paigion (from 106 and park), The Russ Parr Morning Show and The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. Ebony J is now an on-air talent at R&B Cincy 100.3 Monday - Thursday 3am-6am and Friday 7-9pm. Ms. Ebony has a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media Broadcasting and minor in Communications from Northern Kentucky University. During her college education, she served as General Manager of the campus radio station and was an active member of the station for her entire college career. She spent her first week of school researching how to start her own show, and by the third week of school, she had her own show, titled "The Ebony J Show.” The show aired 5 days a week and was the #1 show on campus for 3 years.

Born and raised in the Cincinnati tri-state area, Jeffonia Wynn had a willingness to inspire change in her community. She hosted open mics, facilitated leadership camps, sat on panels and was the youngest member of the American Red Cross board of directors. In fall of 2010, Ebony J became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. Since college, Ms. Ebony J has hosted large events, like concerts and women’s empowerment seminars. She also toured Cincinnati Public Schools to educate, entertain, and empower young girls to reach for their dreams, no matter the circumstances. In 2016, Ms. Ebony J started her own business, "Ebony J Media". It’s the platform for her TV Show, "The Ebony J Show" and her Podcast "Real Talk with Ms. Ebony J". She also hosted her own "Real Talk" segment on Bounce TV at New Extreme Sounds Television for Fox 19. She currently teaches at the Ohio Media School and spends her afternoon working with her sister who has developmental disabilities. Ask anyone who knows Jeffonia Wynn, and they’ll say she has an outgoing personality with a Golden Voice that will take her far. She’s been in love with radio since the age of 5. Ms. Ebony J is a leader and a phenomenal example for dreamers. All things are possible with God, dedication, and consistency. Standing at 4’11 you would think it would be easy to overlook her small stature, but once she opens her mouth she demands attention and respect. Media personality, entrepreneur, host, philanthropist, blogger, life coach, motivational speaker, and teacher Ms. Ebony J is truly the host that does the most.
